It was four days of prayers, teaching sessions, deliverance and healing services at this year’s Global Prayer Summit—an annual event by the Nicholas Duncan-Williams Ministries which focuses on bringing revival in nations through the power of corporate intercessory prayers.

Hundreds of believers who thronged the Camelot in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, USA, the venue for the programme, were engaged in a time of prayer and intercession for their families, communities, and nations.

Since the inception of the Nicholas Duncan-Williams Ministries, its founder, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, has been traversing communities and nations teaching people how to pray strategically and get answers to prayers.

“I believe in the power of corporate intercessory prayers. I have been brought here for a purpose and one of them is to teach people how to pray and get their prayers answered. That’s why I hold these prayer summits,” said Archbishop Duncan-Williams, known globally as the Apostle of strategic prayer”.

The four-day programme also saw performances from anointed musicians and singers, including Ghanaian gospel giant Joe Mettle.

Many lives have been transformed and great testimonies of healing recorded since the NDW Ministries began the Global Prayer Summit 10 years ago.

I had a liver transplant in 2014 and was in the hospital for three months and in a comatose state for 30 days. Whilst at the medical facility, I discovered Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams on YouTube and began watching and listening to his teachings, which have brought recovery and healing into my life,” said one participant.

“I have been following Archbishop Duncan-Williams’ ministry for five years and I have many testimonies. The power of God has healed me three times from pneumonia. The first time I caught it was in 2014 when I was six months pregnant. I was placed on a ventilator machine for two weeks. The second time was in 2019 when I was diagnosed with walking pneumonia after my home burned down in a house fire. The third time was in 2020. I am healthy now and I thank God and NDW Ministries,” testified another participant.

“Every Christian ought to take prayer more seriously than they are doing now. The enemy is not giving up so you also have to pray fervently,” stressed Archbishop Duncan-Williams.

The 2022 Global Prayer Summit, themed ‘Mount Up with Eagles Wings’ climaxed with a banquet to mark its 10th anniversary.
