Bless Confidence Adjetey, a young Ghanaian with an undying passion for football, wins the best refereeing at the Greater Accra Regional Football award in the month of February.
Adjetey was pronounced the best winner among the likes of Derrick Mensah ( class 1 referee), and Emmanuel Adokpa (class 3 referee).
From his childhood days kicking a ball on the streets of Nungua to being crowned as the Referee of the Month for February by the Ghana Football Association Referees Association (GARFA), depicts his dedication, trust and professional touch he brings on the field of duty.
Adjetey is committed to fair play and professionalism on the field which earned him the recognition. His consistent performance has also earned respect of the football community in Ghana.
Bless was nominated four times before being awarded the best referee in February.
Prior to this, he was the second-best referee in the months of June and December in 2023. Despite his busy schedule, Bless is also a professional teacher at Osu Salem Senior High School and serves as the assistant leader for the Children Ministry and Youth Prayer Secretary in his church.
He is often called upon to officiate Area and District matches during their fun games.
