Youth Arise Organization (YAO) has visited Emils Care School and Home in Kasoa Bawjiase to donate essential items including bags of cement, sachet water, rice, toiletries, and stationery.

As part of their outreach efforts, YAO also organized a free health screening for the parents and teachers at the orphanage, while their ambassadors engaged in group mentoring sessions and fun games to uplift the spirits of the residents. An Easter party was held to add joy to the occasion.

The Global CEO of YAO, Moses Baffuor Awuah commended Emil’s Care for their dedication and expressed the organization’s commitment to supporting the orphanage.

“We celebrate Easter with all of you and we are excited to share the joy of Easter with you. The death and resurrection of Christ gives us hope and opportunity. I’m excited to be here today and witness the improvement at Emils Care as compared to Four years ago, when we first came here. The place has really improved, and I foresee even greater progress in the future.” he said.

“I have no doubt that five years from now, Emils Care will truly be the envy of this locality. Youth Arise is committed to ensuring you receive the best education possible. Always remember, with Christ’s resurrection, you have the potential to become the best person this world has ever seen. Believe in yourself and strive for greatness.” Mr. Baffuor Awuah Added.

In response, the founder and CEO of Emil’s Care, Mrs. Emelia Tenkorang, expressed her gratitude for YAO’s generosity and highlighted the positive impact of previous donations and training programs for single mothers in the community.

“This is the third time you are visiting us. The first time when you came, you brought us so many things, and the second time too, the roof was ripped off, and you were able to fix it for us. God bless you. Because what you are seeing here is their doing, and they are volunteers. Some of them are not having full-time job. But all that I want to say is to give you people a shout-out, because you are really touching people’s hearts. God bless you”, she said.

This marks the third year that YAO has donated to Emil’s Care, with similar items being donated in 2022. In addition to providing essential supplies, YAO also assisted in repairing a classroom block at the orphanage prior to this year’s visit.

The Community Hope and Charity Campaign (CHCC) is a flagship initiative of YAO aimed at reaching out to underserved communities and spreading love and support through various charitable activities. YAO is dedicated to making a positive impact on society and ensuring the well-being of those in need.

Youth Arise Organization is a body of young professionals who are committed to the principles and values of mentoring, education, and policy-oriented networking with the aim of empowering young people to be selfless, effective, and dedicated in leadership.
