Background

The incident gained widespread attention after a disturbing video surfaced on social media, showing a student assaulting his classmates with a machete while others stood by. The victims did not report the incident initially, and it only came to the school’s attention when the video went viral.

Following investigations, the school identified the students involved. The main perpetrators were Shadad Aliu (Kester), Haleem Jibril (Chopper), Ahmed Dauda (Foreigner), and Richard Ninsin (Poisonous), while the victims included Samuel Ussher, Kingsford Quayson, Stephen Oteng, and Dominic Awuku Adjei.
