Popular Ghanaian songstress Wendy Shay, renowned for her philanthropic endeavors, has made a significant contribution to the Weija Presby/MA-3 School by donating a substantial amount of food items and educational materials.
The SHAY Foundation, a nonprofit organization founded by Wendy Shay, is dedicated to promoting and supporting charitable initiatives that enhance the quality of life for individuals and communities. Through collaborative efforts with public and private partners, the foundation aims to build a robust support system for underprivileged individuals.
Among the foundation’s various programs, ShayCare and EduCare stand out. ShayCare, aligning with UN SDG 3 (Good Health and Wellbeing), has been actively involved in charitable projects since 2019, addressing diverse needs on a monthly basis.
In a recent endeavor under the EduCare program, Wendy Shay generously donated educational materials, including new uniforms, books, and bags, to the Weija Presby/MA-3 School. This gesture not only brings smiles to the faces of these children but also serves as encouragement for them to pursue their dreams and contribute positively to their communities.
“We are delighted to support these children through the EduCare program and contribute to the education of children in Ghana and the world at large,” remarked Wendy Shay, the founder of the Shay Foundation. “We believe that every child deserves access to quality education, and we are committed to making a positive impact in the lives of children in Ghana and the world.”
Wendy Shay’s dedication to addressing societal challenges is evident not only through her philanthropic contributions but also through her music. The recent release of her song ‘Africa Money’ is another example of her ongoing efforts to provide assistance and support to those in need.
