President of Women in Forex Ghana has stated that in order to close the gap between the young population and financial ignorance, Women in Forex Ghana provides training to these individuals across the 16 regions in Ghana.

“If we have a lot of the youth coming in, I think it will help. Some are able to teach others and are paid for teaching. There are a lot of career opportunities in the trading industry that is forgone because of ignorance but this project helps broaden the scopes,” Sika Annor noted.

At the 2nd edition of the Charity Ball, “Love in the Market,” with the theme “The Digital Skill Gap and the Future of Jobs in Africa,” the speaker emphasized the importance of raising funds to train more young people. She explained that the training would alleviate the problem of youth unemployment by providing more opportunities for them in the financial sector, including positions such as financial analyst, private fund management, Forex researcher, and more.

A beneficiary of the forex trading training, Pastor Frederick Quaicoe, stated that the trading of foreign currencies is the key to unlocking the potential of the Ghanaian youth. Adding that, the forex market is a free and large market that gives access to the global finance marketplace to trade and make good profit, opening countless opportunities for the youth in the country.
