The US Embassy Ghana expressed concern over possible implications Ghana’s economy could face following the passage of the LGBTQ bill.
After three years deliberations, the Ghana’s parliament has successfully passed the LGBTQ bill which criminalized the activity and its sponsors.
The bill proscribes LGBT activities and criminalizes its promotion, advocacy and funding.

The US Embassy Ghana, in a post on X (Twitter) reiterated that the bill undermines freedom of the citizens and it’ll also affect Ghana’s international relations
