Technical University Senior Administrators’ Association of Ghana (TUSAAG) has announced a nationwide strike from Monday, January 8, 2024.

In a statement, TUSAAG stated that the strike is to emphasise their demand for full compliance with the retirement date rollover conditions outlined in the Conditions of Service.

The strike will entail the complete cessation of all administrative and professional services, including services for both fresh and continuing students. It will also involve the withdrawal of services from various units, sections, departments, faculties, centers, directorates, halls of residence, finance, ICT services, physical development, facilities maintenance services, and the offices of the Vice-Chancellor, Pro Vice-Chancellor, and Registrar.

TUSAAG’s NEC has emphasised that the strike will continue until the Management of all Technical Universities fully implements the retirement date rollover conditions stated in the Conditions of Service.

All members of the Association have been instructed to take note of the strike and act accordingly.
