In the spirit of giving and spreading holiday cheer, Selassie Ministries, in collaboration with Helpage Ghana, is gearing up for a heartwarming Christmas celebration dedicated to the elderly.
The annual event, which has become a cornerstone in the community, aims to bring smiles to the faces of individuals aged 60 and above.
The groundbreaking celebration, a cherished tradition, has been an annual highlight where hundreds of the aged gather to partake in the festivities. As part of the initiative, generous donations such as clothing, bags of rice, and other essentials are distributed to the elderly attendees.
This year’s Christmas celebration promises to be extraordinary, and the organizers extend an invitation to the general public to contribute to this meaningful cause. Under the theme “Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world” (James 1:27), the event seeks to embody the true spirit of Christmas by reaching out to those in need.
