For the 8th time, Presbyterian Boys Senior High School, Legon has won the National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) grand finale.

As 2022 champions, Presec Legon won back-to-back in 2023, making it the second time to have won back-to-back on the 30th anniversary of the NSMQ.

They ended the final round 5 with 40 points as against Achimota School’s 28 points as silver medalists, and Opoku Ware School’s 23 points as bronze medalists.

The Presecan boys took the first step to secure the bragging rights as the most successful school in the NSMQ right from round one, as they ended the 2023 grand finale round one with 18 points.

Two-time champions Opoku Ware School and two-time Achimota School ended the first round with 9 and 11 points respectively.

Presec held on to the lead till the 5th round with 40 points.
