Michael Blackson, a Ghanaian comedian, and actor based in the United States has signed the Ghanaian rapper Gambo to his management company.
Blackson expressed his belief that Gambo, who is known for his hit song “Drip” and “Settle,” has the talent, discipline, and passion required to become a global music superstar.
He announced Gambo’s signing to his company, the Michael Blackson Management Company, stating that Ghana has only four internationally acclaimed stars while Nigeria boasts of many.
Blackson made this announcement during a discussion on the “Drink Champs” podcast, where he revealed that Gambo had joined his “Blackson Management” firm. He added that while Nigeria has many music stars, Ghana has only a few, including Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, Sarkodie, Black Sherif, and now Gambo, whom he hopes to develop into the next big thing in Ghanaian music.
