Veteran actress and TV personality, Nana Ama McBrown has stated her reason for not acting in any Nigerian movie.

Explaining her reason, the celebrated actress suggested that Nigerians show little or no interest in supporting Ghanaian creatives.

She referenced a time where Sarkodie’s song was played at a weekend party of the current edition of BB Naija but was quickly changed in less than a minute.

“I don’t usually watch Big Brother Naija. My relatives at home compelled me to subscribe to DSTV and I don’t usually watch television but there is a particular show I wanted them to tune in for Maxy but I realized they had tune in to Big Brother.

“And I asked what they are doing and they said the housemates were having a weekend party so while watching the show, I heard the DJ play a tune by Sarkodie and immediately I heard it. I mean in less than a minute, the DJ quickly switched the song, and that is why I didn’t shoot any Nigerian movie,” she stated on her show, Onua Showtime on Onua TV over the weekend.
