Ibrahim Abanga Jazil, unemployed and a graduate of Tamale Technical University, is embarking on a daring solo bicycle ride from Tamale to Accra to celebrate the John Mahama’s inauguration.

This remarkable journey is a testament to Abanga’s physical endurance and a symbol of hope and optimism for Ghana’s youth.

As he pedals his way through the tough journey, he is driven by a singular mission to express Ghana’s young people’s collective hopes and aspirations as the NDC administration prepares to take the reins. Undaunted by the challenges and risks associated with long-distance cycling, Abanaga has chosen to undertake this journey without the security of a police or ambulance escort.

He is expected to arrive in Accra by January 7th, just in time to witness the swearing-in ceremony of President Mahama. This die-hard supporter of the NDC party and its leader is determined to make his voice heard and to inspire his fellow youth to embrace the promise of a new era.

“My cycling journey is a powerful reminder of the passion, energy, and idealism that define Ghana’s young people” Abanga said. As the nation prepares to embark on a new chapter in its history, his bold ride from Tamale to Accra is a beacon of hope and a testament to the transformative power of dedication and perseverance.

His dream is to congratulate President Mahama in person. This brave and inspiring young man has already won the hearts and admiration of many who are monitoring his journey.
