Highlife music icon Kaakyire Kwame Fosu, better known as K.K. Fosu, has officially declared his intent to run for the Member of Parliament (MP) seat in Akuapong North.
During an exclusive interview, the renowned musician passionately addressed the challenges faced by the constituency, which was once a thriving cocoa production hub but now grapples with unemployment and a lack of development due to what he referred to as poor leadership.
The highlife artiste unveiled his vision for Akuapong North, emphasizing his commitment to revitalizing the region through initiatives in agriculture, infrastructure development, and improved road networks.
Additionally, he expressed his dedication to establishing vocational education programs that would empower the local youth, equipping them with essential skills for a brighter future.
In a surprising twist, K.K. Fosu also took the opportunity to voice his unwavering support for Kennedy Agyapong, who is vying for the NPP presidential flagbearer position in the upcoming November 4, 2023 elections.
Fosu cited Agyapong as the figure capable of uniting the NPP party, underlining his belief in Agyapong’s leadership potential.
