The Jospong Group of Company signs a Memorandum of Understanding with RUDN University in Russia.
According to the agreement, The MOU will seek to offer 500 Scholarships to students to undertake their Master’s degree program starting this year which will go on in the next five years.
Dr. Joseph Siaw Agyapong, the Executive Chairman of Jospong Group of Companies said that the RUDN University has given the company 500 scholarships over the course of five years for students to travel to Russia for their Master’s degree program.
He stated that it is through their agriculture program initiatives that has earned them such scholarships and 120 agricultural students will gain the scholarship this year starting from September.
He said that the University has taken all the necessary expenses the students need to be enrolled in the University and also Jospong Group will take care of their flight tickets and feeding grants to make them comfortable.
He also stated that they got 1000 National Service Personnels to go into farming.
He therefore thanked the Minister of Education, Dr. Yaw Adutwum and other stakeholders who supported this Agriculture initiatives.
The Speaker of Parliament, Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin who was also present at the gathering showed his much appreciation to the Russian Federation for always available to assist Ghana in her needs and urged them continue to continue on this path.
