The annual Greater Works conference, organized by the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) and founded by Pastor Mensa Otabil, has once again left an indelible mark on the Christian community in Ghana and beyond.

This year’s conference, which took place at the Christ Temple East Arena on the church premises, was a five-day event that featured morning and evening sessions, each meticulously planned to the finest detail.

The Greater Works conference, known for its focus on building Christian lives, spreading the gospel in Africa, and promoting the prosperity of the continent, has become a beacon of inspiration and spiritual growth. The 2024 edition was no exception, as it brought together tens of thousands of attendees for a week of powerful sermons, uplifting praise and worship, and enriching fellowship.

Despite a minor disruption caused by rain during Thursday’s session, the event was executed with remarkable precision. The level of organization was nothing short of perfection, with everything from the parking arrangements to the seating, live broadcasts, security, stage coordination, and social media engagement being flawlessly managed. This attention to detail has cemented Greater Works as one of the premier religious events in Ghana, renowned for its impeccable production quality.

In his address at the closing night, Pastor Mensa Otabil highlighted the contributions of over 45,000 individuals, including church workforce and volunteers, who played a pivotal role in the success of the program. He expressed profound gratitude to everyone who contributed, emphasizing the collaborative effort that made the event possible. The event was broadcasted live on Ghanaian television channels MX24 and Joy Prime TV, allowing local audiences to partake in the experience. International viewers were not left out, as the sessions were streamed live on YouTube and Facebook, ensuring a global reach.

Among the notable attendees were several high-profile figures, including the Chief Justice, AJ Sarpong of 3FM, and actress Martha Ankomah. The presence of ministers of state, District Chief Executives (DCEs), Municipal Chief Executives (MCEs), and CEOs further underscored the significance of the event.

A key highlight of the conference was Pastor Mensa Otabil’s moment on stage, where he personally thanked the individuals and organizations that contributed to the success of the program. This gesture of appreciation resonated with many, reflecting the values of gratitude and community that underpin the Greater Works conference.

The chief event organizer, Lady Joy Otabil, wife of Pastor Mensa Otabil, has consistently raised the bar for church events and large-scale gatherings. Her dedication and expertise have set a benchmark in event organization, making Greater Works a model of excellence.

As the curtains closed on Greater Works 2024, anticipation for the 2025 edition has already begun to build. With plans already underway, the ICGC is poised to deliver yet another exceptional conference, continuing its mission to inspire and uplift Christian lives across Africa and the world. It’s going to be Bigger, Better and Greater

Greater Works stands as a shining example of what can be achieved through faith, dedication, and meticulous planning. As the Christian community looks forward to next year’s conference, the impact of Greater Works 2024 will undoubtedly continue to resonate in the hearts and minds of all who participated.
