The inhumane treatment meted on Ghanaians for almost eight years under the misguided leadership of the Akufo Addo-Bawumia government shall be a thing of the past after the December 7th general elections, the Member of Parliament for the Ledzokuku constituency has assured.
According to him, that will be a sigh of relief from total bondage to the second independence which promises to pave the path for economic freedom.
The Ledzokuku lawmaker gave the assurance today, Saturday, July 20, 2024, after a gathering of some party faithful, party executives, some leadership of the party as well as the former president who doubles as the flag bearer for the 2024 upcoming presidential election.
Patrons, after a health walk which aimed at sensitizing electorates on the need to bring back the opposition National Democratic Congress(NDC) and the pair of Mr. John Dramani Mahama and Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang, his running mate to give a leadership of hope to the people of the country, thronged the Teshie Town Park in anticipation for a reassurance in protection of their votes.
Addressing the vociferous and charged crowd,the Ledzokuku MP noted that the suffering that Ghanaians have been plunged into by the Akufo Addo-Bawumia led government will be a thing of the past as John Mahama is committed on that score of alleviating the plight of Ghanaians.
He stressed that it was not a fluke that the novel 24-hour Economy initiative was birthed to transform the country and to give hope to the teeming youth who are canvasing the streets of the country in search of non existence employment opportunities.
“My brothers and sisters, the time has come for us to save our country,Ghana. Let us vote for John Dramani Mahama to come and save us.Be assured that all the pain,suffering and the untold hardship you are experiencing will all come to an end”, Honourable Benjamin Nartey Ayiku assured the enthusiastic crowd.
He said the electoral commissioner,Jean Mensah will have no choice than to declare John Dramani Mahama as president and the various parliamentary candidates as MPs because they will win convincingly.
Professor Joshua Alabi, the John Mahama 2024 campaign manager told the charged crowd not to entertain any fear but to go confidently to their various polling centres to exercise their franchise as they will go to all length to protect the votes.
He further assured that every single vote counts therefore they are leaving no stone unturned and by the grace of the Almighty God, it will be a reality.
