Give People Hope Foundation, founded by Evangelist Daniel Waka, has donated school items and learning materials to schoolchildren in Kpanfa village, Upper West Region.
The foundation donated 83 school uniforms, 123 brand-new shoes from the U.S. and China, 200 exercise books, four boxes of pencils, four boxes of erasers, four containers of sharpeners, and three footballs to ensure students have the necessary resources to pursue their education.
In an interview with Ghana News Guide, Evangelist Daniel Waka recounted how the foundation came into existence during a visit to Kpanfa.
“Seeing children walk barefoot to school, lacking even the most necessities, was heartbreaking. That night, I couldn’t sleep. I prayed for a way to help, and that’s how the Give People Hope Foundation was born. I believe that with the help of God, we can restore hope to these young ones and shape their future.” He said.
Since its inception in 2021, the foundation has been dedicated to uplifting the less privileged, focusing on education, social welfare, and economic empowerment. Officially registered in 2025, the NGO now operates as an independent entity, striving to expand its reach and impact.
