We will announce Majority leadership tomorrow-Dr Ato Forson disclose
Majority Leader Dr Cassiel Ato Baah Forson has announced that the new leadership of the NDC majority on Parliament will be announced as the caucus prepares to shuffle its front bench to take over the affairs of the House.
This announcement was made after Member of Parliament for Kpandai Mathew Nyindam raised concern on the floor of Parliament concerning the uncertainty surrounding the leadership of the Majority and it’s likely effects on government business.
Agbodza-Nitiwul in fierce debate over state of Presidential jet
There was fierce debate on the floor of parliament after Majority Chief Whip Kwame Governs Agbodza raised an issue on the trip of President John Mahama to the United Arab Emirates aboard a commercial flight stating that this is contrary to former President Akufo-Addo’s practice of the renting of expensive private jets for trips both in and out of the country.
However former defense minister and Bimbilla member of parliament Dominic Nitiwul disagreed with these comments stating amongst other things that President Akufo-Addo never used private jets for domestic trips and also revealing that the Presidential has been in good shape over the past few months with former President akufo-Addo using it in the final days of his exit from office.
