With a focus on creating a lasting impact, the motivation behind the summit is to foster positive change and contribute to the growing technological revolution. It particularly aims to support young people who may not have access to technology and digital innovation skills through the formal education system. The summit provides an opportunity to learn, engage, and bridge that gap, empowering youth with the skills needed for today’s tech-driven world.

“We want to build a community of young tech talent,” organizers said. “Through our programs and training, young people can develop careers, build new skills, and create innovative solutions to address societal challenges.”

This year marks the second edition of the summit, which began in 2023 as the Ghana Tertiary Tech Summit. Initially focused on students in tertiary institutions, the event has expanded its reach to include all young people eager to learn about technology and digital innovation. The goal is to inspire every young person, regardless of their educational background, to explore and embrace the potential of technology.

“The power of innovation lies in our ability to adapt to the ever-evolving technological landscape. We must innovate through technology to help us solve some of the pressing challenges facing our society,” organizers emphasized. “I encourage every young person to be part of the Ghana Youth Tech Summit.”
