Over the weekend, GNG embarked on an exciting journey as they introduced their inaugural “WE TOUR” in the Central Region of Ghana. Held on Saturday, September 2nd, 2023, this tour proved to be an enriching and unforgettable experience for all participants.
The tour commenced with a visit to the historic Cape Coast Castle, where attendees had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the poignant history of the transatlantic slave trade. They were captivated by the stories and significance of this historical landmark.
Additionally, participants were warmly welcomed into the rich culture of Cape Coast Fetu Afehye, which provided a vibrant and memorable cultural experience.
The highlight of the tour took adventurers to the breathtaking Kakum National Park, where they courageously traversed the exhilarating canopy walkway. While some braved it with joy and boldness, others couldn’t help but feel a tinge of excitement mixed with fear. The day was filled with moments of awe and wonder amidst the lush greenery and natural beauty of the park.
After a day filled with adventure and discovery, the group safely returned to Accra, reflecting on their incredible experiences. Many participants expressed keen interest in joining the next “WE TOUR” trail, eager to continue their exploration of Ghana’s rich history and natural wonders.
