The timely intervention of Firefighters from the Motorway and Tema Metro Fire Stations of the Ghana National Fire Service have averted a major market fire at Adjei Kojo in Tema on Monday 1, 1, 2024.
The dispatch was done at 1502 hours and it took the adept Firefighters 28 minutes to subdue the fierce fire after arriving at the fire scene in good time.
The blaze was finally extinguished at 1628 hours where 3 metal container shops got severely burnt with 3 other shops suffering partial damage without any recorded injuries.
The gallant Firefighters successfully salvaged 22 metal container shops and their merchandise contents from fire ruins. Investigation is underway to establish the cause of the ruinous fire.
