A fire outbreak has once again engulfed the Madina-Ritz Junction in the La Nkwantanang-Madina Municipality.
The blaze, which commenced at approximately 11 pm on Tuesday, has ravaged several shops in the vicinity.
According to ADO2 Alex King Nartey, the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) Public Relations Officer, the cause of the fire remains unknown at this time.
Nartey stated that the National Fire Service promptly dispatched five fire engines from different stations to the scene, working tirelessly to extinguish the flames.
He stated, “The location is very close to the Fire Station at Madina, so our men were here in one minute. Currently, we have five appliances here, one from the National headquarters, Abelemkpe, Legon, Adenta, and Madina.”
