Grammy Award-winning producer Dr. Dre, radio icon Angie Martinez, and actress, director, and producer Kerry Washington are just a few entertainers set to be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. 31 celebrities will be added next year in categories ranging from film to television to sports.
Other honorees include Grammy Award-winning singer Toni Braxton, Broadway star Sheryl Lee Ralph, the late Otis Redding, and Black Panther star and actor Chadwick Boseman will be posthumously honored with the prestigious recognition as well.
Ralph shared her reaction to the announcement on Twitter with a video. In her caption, the veteran actress wrote, “You’ve heard me say it before, so let me say it again… GOD MAKES NO MISTAKES. I always dreamt of seeing my name on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and now, here I am. I can live my dream with my name on that star.”
