The Cultural Queen Africa Ghana season two pageant, held at the Accra Tourist Information Centre on the 15th of June 2024, was a vibrant celebration of Ghana culture and heritage.
The event, organized by Regina Ofori, the National Director, and coordinated by Emmanuel Kojo Mensah, showcased the beauty and significance of Ghanaian traditions through various segments such as traditional attire displays, talent showcases, and cultural performances.
To create the rightful atmosphere for selecting the well-deserved queen, the judges’ table was made up by:
– Kofi Atta Kakra Kusi, Deputy Director of Domestic Marketing, Ghana Tourism Authority.
– Ms. Lawrence Akosua Hotor, CEO of Miss Entrepreneur Ghana.
– Maame Ofosuah Anim, Ghana Most Beautiful 2020 (Eastern Region Representative).
– Jayson Jay, CEO of Executive Modelling Empire & Executive Producer of The Portrait Reality Show.
These judges collaborated to appoint the outstanding queen among all the final contestants.
Among the remarkable contestants, Marvellyn Brempomaah Sarpong, known by her stage name Angel, emerged victorious as the Culture Queen Africa Ghana. Jemimah Sedem Apedza, known as Sedem, clinched the title of 1st runner-up, while Josephine Aseiduaa Sarpong, stage name Aseiduaa, secured the position of 2nd runner-up. These talented contestants, along with others, not only displayed their cultural knowledge but also highlighted the importance of preserving Ghana’s rich cultural legacy.
Marvellyn Brempomaah Sarpong, the Culture Queen Africa Ghana, will proudly represent Ghana in Nigeria, bridging cultural boundaries and showcasing the beauty of Ghanaian heritage on an international stage.
