The conversation made known through an Instagram post by the Vice President, focused on integrating Ghana’s creative industry into the global financial system and ensuring fair payment for artists worldwide.

The post highlighted plans to launch a new digital payment system for Ghanaian creatives, leveraging blockchain technology.

This system aims to guarantee artists receive due payment for their music and arts used commercially anywhere in the world. With Ghana’s advanced digital payment infrastructure, the launch of this system is anticipated later this year.

The Vice President expressed gratitude to Idris Elba for his commitment to advancing Africa’s creative arts economy.
