The Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin, has suspended four members of Parliament from parliamentary sittings for two weeks. This follows their involvement in a clash that destroyed government properties.

The identified culprits are: MP for Nswam Adoagyiri Constituency, Frank Annor Dompreh, MP for South Dayi, Rockson Dafeamekor, MP for Gushegu, Alhassan Tampuli, and MP for Weija Gbawe, Jerry Ahmed.
