Former Trade and Industry Minister and current aspirant for the New Patriotic Party’s flag bearer, Alan Kodwo Kyerematen has called on leaders of various Christian faith organizations for continuous prayers and support.
Mr. Kyerematen made this call when he held a breakfast meeting with the men of God in Accra. in his speech. He expressed gratitude towards them for the immense support given to him during his tenure as Cabinet Minister and even after he left office to pursue his presidential intentions.
He used the opportunity to ask for their continuous support and prayers for the ruling government in these difficult times and also while he embarks on his Presidential ambitions. He assured them of a continuous engagement when he subsequently wins the NPP nomination and also the presidential race.
He further reiterated his transformational plan, which he dubbed the GTP which he outlined during his earlier nationwide television broadcast in which he made his intention known to Ghanaians.
He also assured them of his commitment to work with them should he become president of Ghana, as long as he carries out his duties responsibly and contributes to the attainment of a better and working nation. He reiterated the Great Transformational Plan he proposed during his nationwide broadcast when he made his intentions known. He said that in the execution of his transformational plan, he will need the support and commitment of the Christian community and other faith-based organizations.
“To execute this transformational plan, I will need the support and commitment of the Christian community and other faith-based organizations, particularly those of you in leadership.” I have pointed out in my broadcast to the nation, the need for servant Leadership among other things”, he added
