Information reaching Ghana News Guide indicates that the secretary to the president, Nana Asante Bediatuo has allegedly suffered 10 hours of brain surgery in the USA

In a press release today, the office of the presidency stated that Nana Asante Bediatuo is currently responding to treatment

The state reads;

“The Office of the President wishes to inform the public about the health status of Nana Bediatuo Asante, Secretary to the President. Following the conclusion of the 79th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, where he served as a key member of President Akufo-Addo’s delegation, Nana Bediatuo Asante remained in the U.S. to conduct additional government business.

Unfortunately, he began to feel unwell and was subsequently admitted to a hospital. The latest update indicates that he is currently in stable condition and responding well to treatment. Medical professionals have reported that his recovery is on track, and there is hope for his swift return to full strength.

The Office requests continued prayers and support for Nana Bediatuo Asante and his family during this challenging time. Further updates will be provided as necessary”.
