African Intelligence Club is set to hold the final assessment stage of the National Olympiad in Informatics (NOI) 2024 on November 9 at Knutsford University College, East Legon.
From Greater Accra, Western, Volta, Northern, Ashanti, Central, and Eastern regions, 50 ambitious students initially registered for this prestigious competition. After an intense first round of online assessments, 20 promising participants advanced to the second stage. Following rigorous evaluations, only 12 exceptional semi-finalists have emerged to proceed to the finals.
These semi-finalists will now participate in an in-person assessment, designed to challenge their Informatics expertise and test their problem-solving abilities to the fullest. Although this stage is not open to the public, the African Intelligence Club invites the community to celebrate and support these students as they take a major step toward representing Ghana on the global stage.
Janet Kwakye, Project Manager at the African Intelligence Club, said, “The NOI is a key initiative to discover and nurture top Informatics talent among Ghana’s senior high school students.”
The National Olympiad in Informatics (NOI) is a prestigious computer science event aimed at identifying outstanding young talent in the field of Informatics. This final stage will assess participants’ coding abilities, creativity, and problem-solving skills through challenging tasks and real-time scenarios. Ultimately, the top four performers will represent Ghana at the International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI) 2025 in La Paz, Bolivia.
The NOI is organized by the African Intelligence Club in partnership with the All Sciences Olympiad Foundation, marking a commitment to cultivating the next generation of technological innovators in Ghana.
