The festival was officially kicked off on Friday, September 6, 2024, at the Oliver Twist Shark, with a spectacular launch event. The festival, which is set to be a celebration of art, music, and culture, was launched on behalf of the CEO of the Ghana Tourism Authority by Kofi Atta Kakra Kusi, Deputy Director of Domestic Marketing at the Ghana Tourism Authority, alongside Korle Gonno Manye Okropong.
During the launch, Kofi Atta Kakra Kusi, the Deputy Director in Charge of Domestic Marketing at the Ghana Tourism Authority, emphasized the Authority’s support for the festival, highlighting the importance of promoting Ghana’s rich cultural heritage.
